Philbeach Farmhouse, Marloes

Set in the heart of Pembrokeshire countryside, this large, old farmhouse is perfect for a relaxing weekend away. In it's secluded location, with roaring fires, beautiful bedrooms, stunning views of Dale bay and plenty of relaxing areas, this really is a weekend not to miss! After exciting and fun filled days, nothing beats coming back to this cozy farmhouse, with amazing views. You can rest and prepare for your next day in the chill out sitting room or have a chat in the communal lounge, or even better have a soak in the luxurious bath or hot tub. A lot of thought goes into choosing the venues, every bedroom will have access to its own bathroom and are available on a shared or sole occupancy.

Hill View, Devon

Come and Unwind with us in Devon at Hill View, this property has been recently transformed into seriously stunning group accommodation. There’s a hot tub on the patio overlooking countryside that’s much as it was a hundred years ago, and inside is a huge open plan living space that makes for very sociable and happy holidays. Interiors combine quirky contemporary style, rustic character and a raw industrial edge to perfection, from the secret door at the end of the kitchen to the latest bathrooms and the worktop inlaid with 2p pieces (just wait till you see it!).

Pigertons, Wiltshire

Pigertons is the most amazing contemporary style venue.There's an enormous open plan living/entertaining room, outside is a walled garden with an 8m swim spa, outdoor cinema, and an awesome roof terrace for alfresco dining. Interiors are an eclectic mix of colourful modern furnishings and gorgeous rustic features – thick old stone walls, vaulted ceilings and chunky timbers.

Nutritious and Delicious Meals

All of your meals, snacks and refreshments are included in your stay. The menus are written for each retreat to ensure they are nutritionally balanced and suit all dietary requirements which are lovingly prepared by Ellen and Beth. This is certainly not a starvation retreat! Ellen's beliefs are getting people to eat food as nature intended. Focusing on good quality, locally sourced meat, fish, pulses and vegetables. Along with decadent desserts to show you that healthy eating doesn't have to be boring.

Cookery Demos

Ellen has a wealth of experience delivering cookery demonstrations. She has attended events and festivals all around the country sharing her knowledge and passion for real food. Ellen has a published recipe book along with a YouTube channel, where she regularly posts new cookery demos. The main focus is to show you how to bring variety to everyday meals, that are simple and delicious. The cookery demos on the retreat are interactive, you'll have lots of tasters and tips, and recipes to take home. We hope to give you the confidence to cook from scratch at home or give you new ideas to take away.

Pilates

Wake up to pilates with Beth, preparing you for the day ahead. If you're not a morning person, end your day with pilates to unwind for the evening of pampering. Discover muscles you never knew existed, whilst learning how to move correctly and safely following exercises created by Joseph Pilates. Not only does pilates help physically, but mentally as well - pilates is for everyone. It is designed to reform your body into a longer, leaner and stronger body with it's low impact exercises. You will have a detailed booklet of exercises to take away with you and practice.

Pampering and Treatments

After a day of as many or as little activities that you wish to attend, it's time to relax and treat yourself with a pamper evening. Whether it's a tropic foot soak which "will soften, smooth and revive tired feet in an instant" or a face mask to hydrate and restore the skin's natural radiance after your long coastal walk in the fresh air, you will also find magnesium salts in the bathrooms for a relaxing bath. It's YOU time, feel free to book a treatment from our local therapists then spend a lazy afternoon in the hot tub.

 Your hosts Ellen and Beth have combined their expertise to create a setting for you to unwind your mind, body and
soul. With nutritious real food, pilates lessons, great walks, nutrition talks, pampering and time to rest. 
With our experience in pilates and nutrition we are well suited to ensure you get the most from your retreat.

Beth Howes

Beth Howes is a comprehensive pilates teacher with a newly opened, well equipped studio in Pembrokeshire. Beth has completed an 18 month training programme with The New York Pilates Studio, Pembrokeshire Pilates and Classical Pilates UK and is fully certified in Authentic Pilates. She has helped many people to build core strength and overcome injuries and weaknesses. ​

Ellen Picton

Ellen Picton is a registered nutritionist for her own company Healthaspire which opened its doors back in 2014. Since then Ellen has helped over 1,000 private clients with nutritional therapy and worked with many companies offering wellbeing programmes. She is also a published author of the 'Real food cookbook' which has been endorsed by Dr Zoe Harcombe; The book includes over 100 recipes that are free from grains, gluten and sugar.​
